My DH has not taken me out, except for my doctor appts, since my foot surgery. I have been so bored. Well, yesterday my daughter flew in from Texas and surprised us. She said she came to get me out of the house! She says even though I've had foot surgery I still needed to be up doing things. We went to visit some family this morning, met my son and family for lunch, took a 2 hr nap and visited more family tonight. Going out tomorrow for lunch and meet up with another daughter and her family. She will leave tomorrow night to go back to Texas. I'll sleep good tomorrow night. LOL Wish she could come back next weekend. :-)

Thank you both so much. Yes, she is a wonderful daughter. Hate she lives so far away but we all have to do what we have to do in life. It's only one go around. I hope hubby now realizes I can do a LITTLE something. lol

He has been a very good nurse, don't get me wrong. He just didn't want me to do anything to mess up my surgery so he was playing it safe. But goodness a month! I was going nuts. Thank you!

It does you good to get out. Just a change of scenery is nice. When our daughter had her foot surgery I remembered where all I had seen wheelchairs in stores to use even a couple of the pharmacies and she was happy to be out. I hope your recovery goods well and you will be up using your foot soon.

Thank you so much! Yes, the scenery change was very nice. Couldn't believe my energy level was so low but I pushed it. Believe it or not, by the time she left I felt pretty good about getting out.

Thank you! We did. Just being in the sunshine did a world of good. Went out to eat twice!! It was wonderful.
