Question of The Day: where do you get your inspiration from or who do you get it from?

Well I get ALOT of my inspiration HERE from YOU CUTIES! sometimes (although not often) I get ideas from magazines, but the rest of the time if I see something I like I try to create it! I'm not really much of a follower when it comes to patterns. I like to make things to reflect my style I guess.

My animal designs are inspired by my love of animals and my 6 cats give me lots of inspiration for the humorous ones!! When I knit I let the fiber tell me what it wants to do...I love the feel of the yarn in my fingers and that alone is an inspiration to create!!

My grandchildren are my biggest inspiration.
Their likes and the stories they love to hear and see too.
I have not created many digitized desgins yet, but my pirates series came from that fact that I see little along those lines for boys.

I get ideas from the people I make things for. I get to know their favorite colors, what type of flowers, animals, etc. they like. I love sewing for all my young adults as they are just getting started in their own apartments etc. Such fun of thinking ideas for them.

At night. I always seem to think up a different way to do something, sometimes I'll even get out of bed to try an idea. Otherwise I write it down because I'll be sure to forget by morning.

My inspiration is making something that another will find special, one of a kind. I never repeat projects. God has blessed me with a love of giving and the creativity and skills to try my hand at most things. I am addicted to the joy of creating. If there are mistakes or flaws in the finished article, it is not in His eyes, but I spy and try not to make the same mistakes again...oh well I try hehehe

That's a goid question. I don't really know where my inspirations come from. They just pop into my head ( probably I have a "second part" of brains who keep themselves busy with that, I do really analise peoaple if I want to sew something for them (like which colors do they like, animals, desgins,...) but I also get lots of ideas from the Projects-tab. So many lovely things are presented there. I sometimes feel I want to do it all
