the patterns are a great deal-I am astonished at the price of patterns now-the original prices on the envelopes would have totaled $87.75!! that's insane!!

What do you sew, LindaLee, apparel or accessories?
I hate doing either cause zipper scare the @#%$ out of me!! Bev tried to get me to use something with a zipper and I chickened out.....so I envy you sew'rs (didn't want to type sewers, doesn't that look like the drain?) Vicki

LOL-Hi Vicki-I do alterations and repairs to ready made-the kind of sewing that most sewers hate. Great demand for it here because nobody likes doing it. It's a good business-makes my car pmts. & extra pocket money. Wintertime here is zipper time-how so many people bust coat zippers is mind boggling-but I get um done $$$ lol

Oh the patterns? my daughter thinks she wants to try to make bags/totes etc. so we bought 4 different patterns & I did buy one for tops. I'll post them elsewhere

Now when you type it it looks like sewers when I type it, it looks like the roto rooters sewers.......LOL!! I don't know why zippers are so intimidating to me...
one day I will knock one out!!

BTW, I did sew some totes last year, but they all had button or buckle closures..
imagine that!!

LOL-I know what you mean vicki-I guess we should change sewers to stitchers or seamstresses(but I have always hated that title-sounds stuffy to me).See, that's why the english language is so confusing to people from other countries

We just got our first Joann's this week. Made a trip with my daughter and bought minky dot at half price. Hope it doesn't shrink much 'cause the clerk just barely measured the yardage - not an inch leeway. Was really surprised at how much "stuff" they had other than fabric and how small it was. The one I grew up with was two stories crammed with fabric!!

I did clearance cotton fabric, not the selection we had a year ago. Flannel mostly because it is that time of year to start thinking about Spring! Yeah!
