Young girls spring dress, I did not have enough fabric to make sleeves or tie backs so I cme up with this idea a white bias fabric about 3" wide and I used my roll hem stitch along the edge in the same color thread as the dress color and added a rolled ribbon rose now all match the dress.

Beautiful job on the contrasting band. If it was of the dress fabric may not have showed as well.
