You know , I may make a batch of these to stick in my bible bag. There are always new people comming into the church who dont feel comfortable sending their little ones to the childrens church. These may help keep the fidgets at bay and make Mom feel more at home as well. Thanks for the nice pattern. Love the many hair styles !

Those are really cute. I was thinking we should be able to make these ITH, like Maureen was saying. I just don't know if I could digitize them as small as 4x4, but I could try..... I don't have ART, but does someone have the ability to change the format?

I agree with the idea of having these cuties as an inthehoop design. It is really lovely and will save a lot of time. Think how many we can make for children and people who are in need of a friendly word or two. Thank you for sharing ****

This is an adaptation of my jointed baby doll. She is 10cm tall and was stitched in my 126 x 110 hoop so I suppose she could be a tad bigger. The back is just the same fabric as the dress. I thought that cords or shoe laces could be inserted in the bottom seam to make legs.

Here is one I tried today. I have a really hard time keeping things simple. She takes about 20 minutes to stitch. You hoop the dress fabric and that's the back too. This is a picture before it is stitched in the bottom, it should be stitched right up by the shoes. I didn't have brown fabric, but lots of colors of skin tones, so I figured I could stitch the face & arms easier than the dress. I put in color stops, so it could sew faster without dress details, and keeping the same color for eyes, mouth, etc. She is posted in designs.
