Today being February 22nd - I would like to honor my Mother - Loretta Jean Greenman - (Miss Loretta) it would have been her 84th birthday - it sure doesn't seem like it has been two years since she passed. I think about her daily and know - that when she left - she had struck a deal with the Lord to save Rick's life - so that she herself would be sitting at the hem of God and not him. I was so very close to her, only a few blocks away and I still couldn't get to her - before she passed - she went so very fast. We miss your sense of humor and smiling face dear Mother. I hope Shirlene that you have a good day celebrating her birthday with lots of wonderful memories. Hugs Sarah.

We never outgrow our moms, do we? Hugs to all those remembering their moms today..Vicki
It takes a Mother's Love
To make a house a home,
A place to be remembered,
no matter where we roam.
It takes a Mother's Patience
to bring a child upright,
And her Courage and Cheerfulness,
to make a dark day bright.
It takes a Mother's Thoughtfulness
to mend the heart's deep "hurts",
And her Skill and Endurance,
to mend little socks and shirts.
It takes a Mother's Kindness
to forgive us when we err,
To sympathise in trouble,
and bow her head in prayer.
It takes a Mother's Wisdom
to recognize our needs,
And to give us reassurance,
by her loving words and deeds.
It takes a Mother's Endless Faith
her Confidence and Trust,
To guide us through the pitfalls,
of selfishness and lust.
And that is why in all this world
there could not be another
Who could fulfill God's purpose
as completely as a Mother.
