My FSL butterfly from YouEmbroidery. I used varigated pink thread on the upper wings and solid pink on the lower wings. These will be so nice for Spring and Mother's Day.

For the upper wings I used varigated cotton thread. The lower wings were my rayon embroidery thread. I used matching bobbins for each wing.

Beautiful....so is this the one you do the top part first, then un hoop and do the bottom part and just before its done you add the top wings to it and finish it off? I must try this one.

Yes, that's how you do it. It's really easy and stitches up really nice. Just have to remember to hoop the stabelizer twice. Once for the upper wings then again for the lower wings. But it's worth it.

Lovely flutterby!

I love that you called it a flutterby. I think that is a much better name than butterfy. It makes so much more sence.
