Dolly for Ugandan Orphan - this is Jan's design - I had some trouble with the right hand side outline near the face, so stitched it down. Then I decided to satin stitch the whole outline of the doll. Hope some little girl will love it anyway. Love Chris

Yes Shirlene, I just stuffed the filling up as far as I could and it leaves a little dent on her face, but it won't matter. Love Chris

I thought we appliqued the front then put the top on, flipped it, stuffed it and hand closed. I haven't tried it yet.

You can do it that way, if you want, but I used Felt and it's an unforgiving fabric. If I use Cotton then I would do it the way as described in Jan's design. Love Chris
