Has anyone bought the software by Brother called PED Next? Is is worth the money they are asking for it?

I have PED Next and to be honest I don't like it, but I have been using generations for years and I have not taken the time to learn PED next. So mine is probably not a fair assessment.

Hi Pat how great to hear from you. Do you already have a PE design? if so you will be able to get a upgrade. I have only recently got PE 8 so am not able tp upgrade again. Time doesnot allow me to use it much. What are you hoping to do with PE Next? Caroline

Hi Caroline. Sorry to be so late replying, I don't seem to have 5 minutes to myself just lately! Moved from Devon and am living with my youngest son in Middlesex. I've downloaded the trial version of PED Next, and it is so fantastic, that I am determined to buy the full version. It's the easiest to draw a design and send it quick to sewing! Brilliant.

I haven't tried it but I'm happy with using PED6 .. embroidery software is so expensive, isn't it? xXx

I have wondered if PE8 or PEnext makes FSL any easier than the earlier verions. Has anyone tried either of those to see if it makes the starting and ending points and easier? Thanks!

I'm just dreaming here - there is NO money for software at this time. I'm just hoping it will drop out of the sky - he he!
If you get this software out of the sky, let me know, and I will watch out for it! Can you not do as I did, and get the trial version, I think it lasts for a month, and it really is great, I waste too much time playing about with it. You can't do too much with it, but drawing pictures, colouring them in, and sending to sew is very, very clever!
