LOL, well I have been a snowbird and when I went, my machine went with me! Where we stayed they had a place for quilters and others to set up and work with their crafts. I even take my machine with me when we travel with the camper to visit with our daughters and the grandkids. It never fails that I don't get asked to make something special or to fix this or that.

We go to the shore, or the beach as we call it here in Virginia. I haven't taken my machine with me, yet, but I've thought about it many times. I think I eventually will!

I don't take mine with me. When we go on holiday I have too much fun doing other things. I wouldn't have room for it anyway, need the room for all the shoes I need to take with me and all the stuff I buy to bring back home. Hehehe..Hugs..Carol

I have an on site caravan at the beach and I have a sewing machine that I leave there, not embroidery but I have done patchwork when my hubby goes and plays golf. It is good if the weather is cold

I take my machines most of time. We have a Time Share so I can set things up like I do at home. Not much on going site seeing. We enjoy just getting away doing nothing. Hugs, Judy

I only take a laptop,i know of a lady who took her machine in a caravan and had big trouble with it, she had to replace something worth several hundred dollars due to the vibration, something to keep in mind.

If I could fit it in the car I would.
But I settle for hand knitting and plenty balls of yarn.

Me! I do! When we go in the motorhome (caravan) I always take it. We are often gone a month or more. My husband loves to fish; I only go fishing with him every 3rd day or so, so I have to have my sewing projects to play with. I have also taken it with us from California to Florida when we visit family. We usually stay a month so it's definitely worth taking along. Have never had a problem with any machines I've taken on trips.
