1st time wristlets
Okay girls I have been looking at all the pretty wristlets and I know this is not as nice as the professional on this site, but I thought I would give it a try. I have been making totes, but I could never knew how to get zippers in. So now I am learning. I want to learn how to do the ones with the tabs on the end. I am going to keep making these until I get at least close to making them as good as the ladies on Cuties. Also my camera is terrible.

Shows up fine on pic. Did you do the whole bag on the sewing machine -zipper and all? I see the letters are from embroidery machine. Very nice.

Yes I did it all on the sewing machine. This is the first time I put a project with embroidery here, I think.Thanks

You've done a great job. Good idea to keep going with a similar project until you're confident. We do learn something each time, I think.

No it's not in the hoop. Still haven't gotten up the nerve to do those yet. I have downloads and I am going to try them.
I was very nervous trying my first in the hoop project with a zipper--but it was so fast and fabulous! I wish all zippers could be put in so simply! You gotta try it!
You talk me into it I'm going to try one. Let you know how it turns out.

Thanks. You know I have been sewing for years I made clothes I am just getting into crafts over the last maybe 21/2 years.
