This is a Uganda quilt question. What are you putting on your quilt label? I am using the elephant label. I was thinking country, state and month/year. Is that what others are doing?

That sounds like a wonderful idea. If you like, you can print a photo on washed muslin, and then embroider the details. Heat set it, and stitch it on. Perhaps the children would like to see the 'real' people who have made their quilts.

That sounds great! Others have done a wide variety of things, anything from just the elephant and words, some put the frame on, some leave it off, some use it as a patch, while others stitch it on directly. Most everyone has used the elephant and the words, but some have used the words with another animal - like a giraffe. It truly is a personal choice. I put m by Jan in USA. Really, it's whatever you want to say!
