Is there a way to download designs to my iPhone? I don't have Internet for my laptop where I'm at for the weekend. I'm sure glad to have Internet on my phone or I would really be lost. What did we do before Internet an cell phones... Lol

Wow-that was quick-do you know if it's possible to download designs using a Kindle Fire? I am new to that new gizmo

Sorry, I don't know. I don't have a Kindle Fire. I do have an iPad but I assume that if anything would work on the iPad it would be the Dolphin app too. But it may not because the ipad does not have as many capabilities as the iPhone. Try the Dolphin app, it's free so it won't hurt. Also try Googling "embroidery downloads Kindle Fire."

it's free so it won't hurt. Also try Googling, "embroidery downloads Kindle Fire." I have not tried it on the iPad since my DH mostly uses it.

Wow. I'm on my phone now. I was able to download a design. I will have to read the post again to see where the design was saved. Thank you for the info.

LOL. I haven't actually transferred one to my computer yet since it was just an experiment for me. Go to your Dolphin app and slide your finger from the right side to the left and you will see the "downloads". Touch "downloads" and you can see what you have. My computer says I need to start ActiveSync to get to my device. I need to work on that part but fortunately I have a family of techies to help me.

Have you tried the Dolphin app?
by sewmom 04 Mar 2012
Sorry I should be calling it the Dolphin browser not app.

It may be too late (was out of town and just now back to a PC and a data signal) but....if your HTC is running Android then the Dolphin software will work. You can find it in the android marketplace. If you, like me, have an HTC that is a Windows phone then....well, we're out of luck.

I don't have an I-phone yet but have been seriously looking into it because my son told me you can plug your I-phone directly into your laptop and use it as a modem..
That ability really appeals to me, especially after all the problems I had with that stupid, mobile internet connector, which is only good for one month, then, no matter how much download data (GB'S) you have left, you lose the lot and have to purchase more. What a ripoff that is!!!

At least with an I phone I would get 2GB of data, with my rental plan, every month.

I believe I can also connect my Nokia 95 to my laptop and use it as a modem, but I haven't checked that out either because I think it would not be fast enough.
Doncha just love technology?
TV wasn't even invented when I was a kid, now I can download talking pictures to my mobile phone and watch them anywhere I go!!! AMAZING!!! :-)))

We were having wifi issues in the house a couple of days ago and a friend that was over used his phone to connect his laptop to the Internet. I was amazed.
