Finished at last! This has 32 embroidered squares. I digitised the designs from photographs of some of our musical instruments. The fabrics are polycotton including a recycled duvet cover and the backing is fleece. I know it doesn't match up to the expert quilts I've seen posted here but this one is mine! (And unique)

You are absolutely right - it is quite unique, in that it tells a bit of a story about your life with the musical instruments. I think it is beautiful. What is the finished size?

Sue, when in the world did you find time to digitize and stitch something for yourself :-) This is a masterpiece and will be quite the family heirloom, a real treasure. IT looks perfect to me! I'd love to see the individual instruments. You are a very, very talented person! Hugs, Jan
