I have read many positives in reguard to METRO ..Also if I buy prewound bobbins ,what do you do with all the empty bobbins when done? Do they discount if you return them? " keep smilin "dominique

I use the cardboard sided bobbins, so there are no empty bobbins to dispose of.

I thought about those but the manufacturer says not to use cardboard..
thank you though..I will probably find a craft of some sort to make with them lol..maybe garland for the tree..

You can wind the bobbins with matching threads--sometimes you want the under to look as nice as the top. You'll just have many extra bobbins! I LOVE the Metro pre-wounds for my Bros & my Elnas..the "L"s fit 4 of my machines.,,a real bonus!

ENJOY your package when you get it - in the mean time - you could order the colors that you are in need of - it is likely that you will be ordering them again soon anyway.

I buy the plastic sided ones and I rewind colored thread on them for FSL, etc. I have the 166 metro set and just love it (have also bought some of the popular colors again - in the larger size).

It has been easy to find the right color in the 116 large spool set. They also have some extra neons! I think they will last a while, and I can now reorder just the colors I need. Stock up on white, they were out when I ordered my set! Live Laugh Download Stitch!

Ditto..I have all 166 colors in the large spools...Love them! Also use their Class A15 Prewould plastic sided bobbins. Baby Lock Ellisimo has no problems with them. Use empties and rewind with colored threads for my Janome 8000 sewing machine and also for FSL and other embroidery where I want matching bobbin thread...
