Well I couldn't wait to use my machine this morning sew I did the thread catchers. The small ones use the link pattern. I think they are too small & when I sew I don't want to have to stop & make sure i get the thread in the hole se I made the bigger one for me! I added birthstone gems to each of them!

AS there are only triangles used you can make it as big as you like without a problem.
sure thing I started with a 5.5"triangle the actual "pattern" calls for a 9.5" one & the one I made larger I did it 11.5" sew as big as you want to go

They are cute and if you use a bunch of the smaller ones they could be used for jewelry.
