Just had to make this pot holder sewn in under 10 minutes! Have put Insulbrite in between the fabrics so I can pull things out of the oven or even place a hot casserole dish on top. Love and blessings Chris

I have a basket full of them. My son likes the mitten type so I made him up some using a blue stripe heavy towel. Couldn't get Insulbrite so cut up an ironing board cover.
Wow - how wonderful to have so many and that they are practically indestructible, too.
I occasionally burn the edges and have quite a few to prove it.

Chris, am I right in assuming the top is made of 4 rectangles? Cut 4 squares the size of the potholder, fold them each in half and weave them together, use a fifth square as the back - or do the back same way as the front - turn them with insulbrite in between? At least that's what I would do to copy yours. Same method would work for small coasters as well.

Yep, that's how it's done. 6 x 10 inch squares. Place first one face down, put on insulbrite, lay next piece face up, then fold the other 4 in half and place them one on bottom, left, top and then the right but lift up the bottom one and
tuck the one that is on the right underneath. Then sew all around. Cut off corners and fold inside out. I put a bow on it to hang it up. Just look for 10 minute pot holder in YOUTUBE. Love Chris
