I don't like to say any thing bad, but when i renewed my membership I was thinking that I'd be getting new designs in all the groups,lace and cross stitch too. I went to the new sister cross stitch site, and i'd like to get some of the designs, but I can not aford to pay for other membership to another site. Please , Please go back to putting your designs on this one site. or let those of us that have memberships here be able to go to the other site once a month to get new cross stitch design, that once would have been put on this site. Sorry if I sound hateful, I do not what anyone to take this the wrong way. I know very one has the right to do whatever they wish with their own sites, but when money is so short, I am looking for the most that I can get for my money.

I have to agree on this one, if it weren't for some of the digitizers adding freebies, there wouldn't be much downloading new things daily...I appreciate at least being able to come & get free stuff, but am disappointed by the lack of new things I thought I had paid for......sorry, but that is how it has been lately.......

I agree with you, both of my memberships are up tomorrow, and for this reason I will not renew them until things change. I love the sites, but it's not the same and there has been very little new the last few months.

It has been a long time since there was any new designs in cross stitch and lace and I have been very disappointed also.

I did not renew my subscription when it fell due a few months ago for the same reason. No offence meant but can buy designs that I really cn use for the money. Not everyone has small kids to embroider for and I found some (or maybe a lot) were for under 5's

I also will not renew. Personally not so much becaused by the lack of designs (that I noticed too and that's why people pay for a membership) but caused by missing my old features for community.
Don't know if Miss Veronika is doing her business all alone (like MistyMountains seems to do when I read thta post from Roberta) but maybe it is a little too much to have 6 pages running (Cute, Cute Alphabets, Adorable Applique, Amazing, CuteCrossStitch and YOU).
Think it would be better for the satisfaction of the members (and most of all of the paying members cause nobody should forget that this is still a business to earn money) not to try to run with the hare and hunt with the hounds at the same time. Better put the energy and creativity on the main pages ;o)

Okay, can someone please tell me when ordering from the Cutie site are they free to members or do we have to pay for them? I just paid for a subscription and don't know where to go to get the free downloads. Can someone give me some sites to go to that the downloads would be free. I know for sure that I won't renew when the time comes. It is way to hard to keep up with.

Here's what I do (there may be another way) click on "designs" on top left of page. When you've chosen one, don't click on "add to cart" Instead, click on the design itself. Then a new page will open and you can select download. I learned the hard way.

I see no comments here from any of us "oldtimers" who have been with Cute almost since the beginning of it's inception. For more than 7 yrs now I have been all over the web trying out free designs here and there. since we are both only on SS I have little money to spend. I have never felt my membership money was not well spent here on Cute. I've never had a bad design and I thinki Ms. Veronika is quite generous. The help I have found here among cutes has been astounding and has kept me from rushing to my dealer when it was a simple little thing I could fix myself with the help from a more experienced embroideryer. I'm sorry to hear some are disappointed, guess it hurts because this is my family. /Lillian

sorry to read all this. I must admit I wasn't a paying member, but a very , very, very dear friend surprised me in janauary with a 6 month membership. And I love it.( I wasn't able to get one but now I do have it, and I think it's great!) Well at least we got a whole set of lovely new letters I just saw. And I love to be here at the site. It's the only real site with so much more besides embroidery!

I am also and "oldtimer" and I have not renewed my membership as I have not seen any new designs in the other catergories and the only ones that are free have been alphabets and how many of those can you use. I very happy with the people I have come to know and like there comments. I have introduced many friends to the site and many have said they will not be renewing either hugs Raelene

Just other thought, my husband paid for my 6 month membership here ( 3nd in 5 years), some how I fill like I wish I had looked at the site to see what had happen to it, I'd wish I had known about her new site, I would have gotten that one instead. But I still enjoy this one too, but you just don't get the design we once did.:(

I'm sorry there are those here that are disapointed with the site. I understand the frustration you have but I can't imagine not being a member here. When my first membership was over new ones came up that I had to have and felt it cheaper to buy the membership than buying one at at time. I don't know of another site that is as generous as Miss Veronica is. I do hope things work out for all of you. I'm sure it's not easy keeping up with everything here. I'm also on a very limited income living alone now so I take advantage of the lower renewal cost. Blessings to you all.
