Have you ever had one of those days? I messed up my scan card reader, well the truth is I broke it! Then I had to wait for a new one! Then I burned my fingers with the hot glue gun, & then when I finally get a new reader I start to sew & my machine goes on the blitz again! I just got the silly thing back on Monday or was it Tuesday? Now it MUST go BACK AGAIN! agh...........

OK, not even going to ask how you broke your scan card reader. Oh dear, I thought burning fingers was part of using the hot glue gun. I even keep tooth picks close by and can still injure myself. Count to 10, deep breaths, Tomorrow will be better. Hugs..Carol

OH DEAR! I so feel for you Loralye.

I only used my hot glue gun once, burnt my fingers, so chucked it out in the garage where it hasn't been used since. LOL!!!
I found there are easier ways to glue things and much better (more permanent) glues to use.

As for your card reader I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the Janome 1000, but perhaps you could search Ebay for a replacement. Dealers often sell excess stock much cheaper on Ebay, just to get rid of it.
Hope you are up and running again soon.
hugs and roses, Meganne

Yes, Ive had one of those days as well. Glad its nearly over. It was a full moon here last night and the moon was still big and full in the sky when I was going to work this morning. Thats what Im blaming it on!!!

At least you have not put the card the wrong way around into the machine. Had to take pliers to get it out and then did it again before I realised it was the problem. I really prayed so hard that I have not messed up the machine. I was so glad everything worked when I finally got it right.
