I have a confession to make. I had signed up to do 2 quilts for Uganda. But, since I've had to have some unexpected surgery, and am facing more, I won't be able to fulfill my commitment. I publicly said I would, so now I feel I have to publicly say that I can't. So sorry! (yes, I have already notified her)

I get it. I did not commit, but I think I am may try to pull one off, if there is enough time and the need is there. I have 3 of my own, I haven't done because it doesn't give me the near instant gratification of the embroidery, my med conditions give me grief.

Sorry to hear about the need for surgery. Hope all goes well.

Sorry to hear you have to have surgery. I do hope it's nothing too serious.
Don't feel bad. Life tends to get in the way sometimes. Good luck with the surgery and I pray all turns out well for you.

Jennifer, you didn't need to confess, silly lady :-) I have already found someone to make two quilts to replace the ones you had hoped to make. So, you don't need to worry about that at all anymore. Just spend your energies on getting ready and rested up before your surgery. There will be lots of ways you can help in this world AFTER you have recovered from your surgery. Uganda is not the only place that needs help - there are lots of local needs. I knew there would be people who would have things come up because LIFE happens. You need to not worry, not even one little bit. Truly dear lady, dear friend, It's all okay. There will be plenty of ways for you to help others. Now is the time to let others help you. Love and God bless YOU, Jan Please promise to let this bad feeling just go away :-)

I actually know how you feel as I thought I would not be able to afford postage to USA and I thought I would have to drop out. My quilt will be going to London and then posted from there to Jan. Just get well Jennifer and I hope your surgery goes well. Hugs Sarah
