I'm cleaning up and deleting some of my yahoo groups. Some designs I pay for, some I get free. I found some yahoo groups that say "free designs for group members" but they haven't posted a free design since 2007. I know they are free but if they want us to stay with them, you would think they would offer a new free design once in a while. I guess it's good to clean some of them out anyway...all they do is mail you out junk mail.

Did this before the last holidays to prevent my mailbox to explode. The only group that is really sending mails every 3days with wonderful free designs is "Oriental embroidery/ Embroidery horizons". Love them :o)

I hate Yahoo groups, I just seem to get endless email messages that I don't have time to check. Of course I don't collect free designs so that is not the issue. It is the sheer volume of mail some of these groups seem to send out that do my head in.

Really, that's true. I really only buy designs from about 10 different places, and I've grown leary of free designs from sites I don't know. You just don't know what you are getting on the quality, or legality of the designs. I also have a rule I follow: if they won't give out free samples of their work, I just don't care to take a chance on their designs. So, I just talked myself in circles - right?
