Just wanted to share, Here is today's picture of my puzzle ball. It is made from an equilateral triangle. If it is sewn together properly it forms a ball. I entered the VA arts festival competition and placed first in my division.

Thank you Annie. The book is called Patchwork Puzzle balls by Jinny Beyer. It is published by Breckling Press. It may be available at local shops, or you can order it online through Jinny. The ISBN # is 0-9721218-5-4. My copy is from 2005. It is on ebay or Amazon, or many other outlets. My cost was $ 20. I'm not sure what that equals in pounds.

No, the individual shapes are cut and then sewn to each other. If it is sewn correctly it becomes a ball, if not, really interesting looking shapes appear!

60 degrees. The patterns and templates are from the book, " patchwork Puzzle Balls" by Jinny Beyer. It is published by Breckling Press. You can Google it and see other books by her. It was a lot of fun to do.
