Embird pros to the rescue please
Working on a new design I suddenly have jumps in the design where cuts of thread should be.Where can I find an explanation of the little symbols that show up on the right hand box were the eye for show or hide is. I have checked the parameters but can not see what I have to change. Need a point out in the right direction please. Will dig into help files now.

Does those jumps appear in a column stitch? If so, they are to wide. You could make a carving through the midle or convert to column with pattern.
Here are the most frequently used symbols, made a flower to demonstrate.
1 is a column stitch - in parameters choose Strips (here 11)
3 column with pattern
5 column stitch
2, 4 and 11 connection stitches - delete those if you decide later that you want a jump
6 - outline stitch and the type is mentioned as well
7 - fill stitch
8 - fill stitch - choose motif fill
9 - group 1 (in this case of 3 fill areas)
10 - manual stitches
12 - start as any fill area, then choose auto column in parameters.

xox thank you so much, will study now, Martine, you are so sweet,it is the Nr 6 one, and I only think I have NEVER seen it before 8-) and I went to editor to insert trims so now back to work on the design.
