this is a handmade silk embroidery named Cixi (Means sewing beauty with a needle) it is one of the most exquisite Chinese traditional folk art styles and it is also titled as "the Pearl of Oriental Art" or the "hidden Oriental Jewel" it was a gift today from my dh to cheer me up for being without my machine.

Now this is what I would love to learn it is so beautiful there is a girl that teaches this at one of our quilt showes but I have never had the chance to take the class I am going to watch and the next time she is there I am going to take it.
