Not so much a question just curious. When I look through projects I see there are some cuties who post almost every day with their projects. Do these Cuties embroider every day? I am afraid that I only embroider when I need to make something or decorate an article. I am just very curious. LOL :)

I do a lot of craft shows, and I also have a home based business, so I am in the sewing/Embroidery room working just about every day...Sometimes 8-10 hours a day.

I wondered that too, I wish I can do so much embroidery but try to do at least something 3 times a week. Hugs Louise

I would love to do more embroidery as it just fascinating to me but I mainly make clothes. Sarah
by louisecockeran 15 Mar 2012
Yes me too I seldom buy clothes I rather make it myself and for sewing I do it about everyday. Embroidering on the clothes I make for me my daughters and grandchildren is a bonus. Hugs Louise

I embroider whenever I can - I actually look forward to bad weather! Mostly though, I'm testing the designs I have digitised.

Your digitizing is amazing and I am not surprised that testing your designs is taking up your time. Sarah.

I do not know where you ladies find the time. I am retired, no GC close by and yet the time just flies.

I have wondered also. It seems like some do almost nothing but embroider with all they do. When I am not working I try to do things that are of interest to me.

I have come to the conclusion that some peoples days are longer than mine :)

I am doing embroidery everyday, I am busy with Jackets for my granddaughter for the winter with embroidery designs on and some her name. After that I am starting with the paperdolls quilts for my four granddaughters. So I am on my Emb machine everyday. Hugs Marie

I have been embroidering for 3 years now. I wish I had found this wonderful pastime years ago but then I was busy working.

I make more things than I post. I don't always can be bothered to take photos. I try to embroider at least 3 times a week but some of my projects are big! and take weeks to finish!

A very good idea to have a few presents at the ready. I also have a stash of guest towels and tea towels.

I post far less than I make. I think adding every towel or bib or technique does not add extra inspiration. Unfortunately we can no longer delete posts or see what we uploaded, so I've no idea how many same sort of projects I posted. I used to delete them at regular intervals to keep to just a couple of pages.

I used to delete my projects as well. I wrote to Miss V. a long time ago to see if we could get the edit and the delete projects back, also so our posts don't get cut off but I don't think we will get them back, but one has to keep the hope.
by airyfairy 15 Mar 2012
I also think they have gone forever.
by ansalu 15 Mar 2012
I also don't post everything that I stitch cause I think it is boring to see the same again and again...
Just put it in projects whe it is something that I tested for the first time.
by spendlove 15 Mar 2012
I used to delete projects as well and try to keep the total to a reasonable amount. I thought it stopped the site from getting too slow. It is a pity we can't still do that.
by devon 16 Mar 2012
Me too, I don't post everythig that get to do.

I asked the same question a while ago. I seem to save my projects and put them on almost all together but then will have a spell, but I am alone so sew almost every evening to keep me sane.

I only can embroider on Sunday. The other days I have to work and on Saturday I need to do homekeeping stuff (washing, bying food,..) I wished I could sew more. 'cos sometimes on Sunday we need to visit friends or family, or when the weather becomes nice we sometimes go out for a walk or so..

I seldom post anything in projects but my machine is on, up and running most every day unless I have to go somewhere. I still stay behind, I have to stop my big projects while I'm working on smaller things such items for baby showers etc. With all the teachers in my family(4) and all at different schools, someone is always wanting something for a baby or wedding shower, LOL. It does keep me busy. Grand daughter sent me 2 emails yesterday with pics of shirts she wants done for my G. Grandson Just finished a dress & bloomers to match for her 9 mos. old daughter. Busy is my middle name./Lillian

Carolyn - just the person I hoped would answer my post. You certainly have more hours in your day than any other Cutie. I do not know where you get the time from. Just love seeing the projects you post.

I do not so much as I should but I have a small business and that's why my machine is running. My designs are often the same (lamps , yes Carolyn ;o) and so I just put them in projects if I use a design for the first time (or I really do something other than lamps *lol*).
Greetings, Bettina

Very good question, I wondered the same thing. You girls have so many things on line; Lovely things. I get stumped because there are so many things I have downloaded I don't know which ones to do. I have done a few of the scissor holders, but my camera does what it wants to do so I have not taken any pictures.

I embroider mostly every day. Even while I am ironing. I have a craft market every month and I am also starting another one as soon as chemo has stopped. I do feel rather tired lately. But, embroidery gives me a leash on life. I love doing it. Practically all my own wearables are embroidered. I also embroider my towels, bedlinen, curtains etc. ****

I have so many things I want to do but never seems to be enough time. Presents first, charity and me last. This year I said me first but it hasn't worked
out that way. I tend to do more in winter than summer because its to hot.

We are going to Europe in May and I just have to find time for me. I have so much that I need to sew for myself. I have a pile of t shirts that need embroidering and some gifts to embroider. I actually feel sick when I think of all the things I need to do.
by airyfairy 16 Mar 2012
do. I hate being cut off!!!!! :(
