Nothing to do with embroidery but I wondered if any of the Cuties would know if fleece dyes. I have a winter white fleece jacket (no lining) and I wondered if I could dye it a beige. Sorry to post here but more people come to Public than Personal. Thank you. Sarah.

I immediately thought fleece = real natural wool fibre from a sheep, then realised you probably meant polar fleece -correct? In that case, being synthetic, I'm not sure it would take so well, but I guess you could test on a small piece and see how it goes?

Sorry - I forget that we all live in different parts of the world and use different phrases. Yes I do mean polar fleece. Thank you.

The short answer to this question is "probably not" since polar fleece is basically plastic. BUT there are paints that are very much like dyes that would work well. The trick would be to get it covered evenly. You might try using a scrap of white fleece and experimenting with it. I would give you one if you were nearby!! Try tea, fabric paint and various other methods. Good luck!!!
