As promised, here are my digitised and embroidered pictures of my dogs - left to right Beamer (pedigree Large Munsterlander), Poppy (cross-breed) and Scully (another cross-breed.) They're separate embroideries and I shall be framing them as pictures for the wall as I'm very happy with the results. They've taken a total of 10 hours to draw, digitise and embroider - now I really ought to do some housework! :-)

The digitising has not taken away the characters - so lifelike they will look wonderful as pictures Dianned.

... and the housework IS still there ... I got diverted onto drawing and digitising the cat! I also have a horse and a bird too - I suppose I ought to do them as well!! :-)

bravo for you, they look great, I especially like the "cross-breed" instead of mutt. You can tell they are loved and being 'mom' to 8 cats I know how they grab your heart. Cudos for a job well done.

What software are you using? Looks great. *4U

I have the Janome Customiser Easy Import which came with my (second-hand) machine. It's not too sophisticated so it's also not too difficult to use, which suits me fine at the moment! Once I have the drawing reduced to an outline of all the different colour blocks - that's the bit that takes the time - it's just a case of choosing colours and stitches. I'm still having problems with outlines, I don't know whether that's me or the software!
