My interpretation of the one tie handbag. I started out with the instructions from quilter123 but modified it by mitering the corners and adding the snap tape closure. I am so pleased with how this turned out that I already have plans for the next one.

Great work. I would love to know how to do the "snap Tape Closure". Bev

If you search for snap tape closure you will get several tutorials on how to do it. It is much easier than one would imagine. The hardest part for me was cutting up a perfectly good measuring tape.
Thanks, I found a good one. Now to find time to try. I have two old tapes to play with. Bev.

queen of hearts, you did a fantastic job with your one tie purse... I love the embroidery you added and see no one realizes just how much fabric is in one of those silk ties. See, I told you it would work and you did a great job of making it look like a clutch bag. I am very proud of your accomplishment and I look forward to seeing the next one also.....but it is quilter 124.....

After I had submitted it I realized I had mis-typed the number 4. I'm sure everyone knows that it was from you. Thanks for your help.
