Thank you - this is embroidered on felt ans yes doubles to make a pouch - You can see the instructions on the Embroidery Library website how to make these Silverware Holders - There is a lot of it here in Iceland that women come together to knit in many yarn shops - next time you visit Iceland then, look for hand-craft stores and maybe you'll see women knitting.
