I have had a bad day. I set out to embroider four t shirts for the GC. The first one had no underlay stitches and towards the end the design was all over the place. The second one my upper thread kept on breaking - eventually my machine said 'enough' and made the most ghastly noise. I took the hoop off and took the innards apart and cleaned. Put it all back and it happened again. I clean again and this time it worked. The third t shirt I had trouble with the bobbin. The last t shirt was a dream to sew. I am now totally exhausted and spending some quiet tome on Cute. Hugs Sarah.

It seems to be but I will leave it until tomorrow as I am feeling a bit wary about
sewing again today. Sarah.

I think I had that same day just 2 days ago! I abandoned a too dense design on a t-shirt. I should have tested first! Live Laugh Download Stitch!

Sorry to hear that happened, but that's one of the reasons that you should ALWAYS to a sample stitch out of a new design before you put it on anything good. I have paid good money for a few designs that were terrible. Just because you pay for a design doesn't guarantee that it's a good design. Same with all the free ones.

Oh Sarah you need a break now. Take the rest of the day off and go out doing something without needles and thread ;o)
Greetings, Bettina

Sarah, I can relate to your circumstances. I do understand wanting so badly to make something special and either the fabric, the machine, the thread, or just about anything happens, and, Kaplooey !!
I feel for you...
Have a cup of tea, coffee, or whatever it takes to walk away and take a few moments for yourself. Sometimes that will do the trick !

Better times are ahead,
Many hugs,
Bonnie

Great advice Sue - unfortunately I am watching my weight so a chockie is out of the question, although I would do anything for a Frys peppermint cream!!!

Why will the "devil" join in the embroidery just when you have an order or are in a rush to get orders finished??? I sympathise with you. Have a nice rest.***

I feel your frustration. Eventually walked away from the machine and made dinner when the wedding bells were not coming together right. I've had a days break and the machine is working away.

When things like this happen to me I wonder why I ever started to sew. LOL
