Did you see this exchange? I am a fan of Cindy Russell's but I don't get this. If your webpage has a problem that gives a design free (she gives many free) how come irebel got the scolding?? Lots of her designs show up free only after you put them in your cart. I got into a different web site the other day and I could have downloaded the whole site but I realized it was a badly designed web site and a mistake and I didn't download it. Isn't that the web designers fault, not the shopper? Just wondering your perspective on this, maybe I'm off base on this.
It was clearly posted that the coffee beans were free with purchase. If there was a glitch that made them go in as free, would you not notify the website owner instead of taking, and sharing the mistake? Cindy has just gone through having someone posting her design sets on a mega sharing site, and that person brazenly defending their actions.
It's unfortunate that only the one name was recognized, but there is so much taking and sharing of designs illegally lately, I can understand her frustration.
To many digitizers, this is not a hobby, it is their means of supporting their families. The tea buddies were $2! I don't see anyone on that thread posting that they have now gone and bought anything.
