In the hoop zipper projects are Sue's latest obcession. What is yours? If you had a whole week to embroider but could only embroider one thing what would it be? Me, I would do butterflies.

A whole week to embroider would be bliss. Maybe the backlog would go and the UFO's etc.

Yes,but you can only embroider one thing, not the ufo's and no backlog for one week only.

I spent 2 weeks with my sister a couple of years ago and we spent all of the time we could at the embroidery machine. She had just gotten it. We had a great time and her husband and daughter were great sports about it. Hugs & Stitches, Liz

That's a hard one as I love butterflies, birds and roses. I think I would do roses first, beg for another week and do butterflies, then make promises for another week and do birds. Hugs...Carol

Embroider Blocks for quilts.
I would get a lot of quilts from a week of blocks.
This is a very good idea, to focus on one thing at a time, maybe I should try it.
Thanks for your idea!

I do like butterflies also. Add a few hummingbirds and blue birds and toss in a few Stella, JJ and Maxine designs for a little humor. Kay

After a day I would be bored doing the same thing over and over again, so I'd start sewing or knitting or preferably digitising.

I love digitizing too! It's like solving a puzzle, but even better. It just takes me so long to do, because of all the testing and revising, and then to post it you have to photograph it, and convert it to all the formats. When I spend time digitizing, I don't have time to sew or embroider. I need more hours in each day!

I'd love to make some FSL baskets and doilies or coasters, or whole sets for a change. They are just so much fun! But, I also love how fast ITH projects go together. Actually I'd love to create and then digitize some ITH projects that have some FSL edgings! That would take me more than a week! LOL

Actually, I'd like to create some napkins rings that would be FSL with moose and mule deer, raccoons and squirrels with pinecones - kind of like the ones Yoriko does. I just need more time and training. Then I'd like to make dozens and dozens of them, sell them for hundreds and hundreds of dollars and get rich enough to buy that new Brother Embroidery machine. Now I am dreaming!

and give the sets to each of you for being so nice!

Free Standing Lace!
I love FSL designs that can be used for table runners, large doilies, napkin rings,FSL candle holders,FSL holiday ornaments,FSL Ornaments etc.

Right now I am working on sets of FSL Butterflies that can be coasters or just a decoration for laying on a table.
Next is a very large multi piece FSL butterfly that once joined together will be large enough to use as a Dinner placemat or a great centre piece for a table.
I do love other types of embroidery but FSL is my favorite.
