Sue Help !!Heres my second try and i still got problems how do i cut the zipper open ??Maybe i should say when .I used other part of zipper for the handle lol hugs carolyn

Hi Noah,Lesley here,perhaps I can help? it looks to me,like you have sewn your zip onto the fabric?I haven't tried the piano bag yet,but I imagine the ith bags are all the same method? can I explain my method? 1,hoop stablizer, 2,sew first outline onto it (no material,3, attach zip onto zipper line,face up,leaving both ends of the zipper outside of the bag outline. 4,take a piece of material double the size of the top of bag,fold in half(the right side of material showing)iron or finger press. now lift the sewing foot,slide material under,away from you until the folded edge is laying centered on the zipper teeth,sew in place.5,do the same again with the bottom of the bag,slidind folded side of material up to lay neatly against the first piece of material,sew in place. 6.complete pattern of bag. 7.place last piece of material face down over the entire bag,allow machine to sew a few stitches,stop machine,open zipper to about half way,attach strap,I hold it in place with a little double sided sticky tape,keeping all sticky stuff outside of bag area(no clean up after) smooth material in place and finish sewing. Well that looked so great in the top pic! We'd never have known things went wrong before seeing the other. Using the end of the zip was a great idea too. I'm sure someone will sort you out.

Oh dear - I can see what you have done but I'm not sure I can explain it!
If you followed my instructions you wouldn't have any top stitiching showing on the zip. After you have stitched the zip to the stabiliser, you lay a piece of fabric over the top part of the purse, face down and covering the zip. When that is stitched down, you flip it back so the stitching is invisible.
It should look like this:
