the one thing that I would add would be more footage LOL, no seriously this has to be something that could actually happen! Sew I guess I would add my machine because right now I don't have it! If I did then I would add something to better organize what I do have. Hugs Loralye PS don't forget to water everyone above me to their garden! TIA

I would like more room for my fabric bins and more room to spread out my machines. right now I have no room for my serger to be set up.... I do have two embroidery machines and a really good Husqvarna sewing machine... so no room for serger...

wHAT WOULD YOU DO IF THE MAID DID A REALY GOOD TIDY UP & YOU couldn't find the item you wanted? I know we put things away & can't find them at times but we know how we think ,the maid could have other ideas where things should go .More time wasted looking
by pldc 24 Mar 2012
this is sad but true & if we want it done right unfortunately we have to do it ourselves, but the maid could do the cooking & washing up & the everyday chores sew we could have more time to sew! lol

I could use another building the size that I have now joining the other one in the middle so I could add a long arm quilting machine. I am getting a custom made cutting table this summer with drawers under it, as my hubby has promised to build it for me....when we quit having rain every day.....or every other day....

by pldc 23 Mar 2012
maybe you need to replace your bulb? I thought my eye-sight was getting worse & the last time I took it in my "guy" said he had to replace the bulb as it was burnt out! $20 for a teeny weeny bulb, but hey it lasted 11-12 yrs!
by hightechgrammy 24 Mar 2012
Actually, I think I really need more light. I keep adding lights in there, 3 Ott lights, 1 other daylight brand, LED lights, lamps, I just can't get enough light. ... Am I the only one who has this problem?
by pldc 24 Mar 2012
no my dh has added under the counter lights for me for this same reason!

by sewdoctor 23 Mar 2012
Nope it doesn't....LOL I love my sergers... don't know how I would sew without them or how I did. I have had a serger for about 31 years....and I now have 8...3 aren't working right now...but I do use all the other ones.

well I have learned that overall we would like a new many needles machine & more space! I actually have 3 rooms but I would like them to all be in one room But I am very happy with what I have! It's funny when you don't have what you normally have you sure come to appreciate when it comes back to you! I can't wait for my machine to come home again!

OK.... here goes ....GreedyGoldingToTheFore......

My one thing would be a Janome 350E embroidery-only machine.
Why??? so that I can free up my big Husqvarna Viking Designer II for quilting and other sewing while I stitch out designs for projects. I'd still use my HVDII for bigger and more special embroidery items but with a 350E going I'd be able to utilise my 'sewing time' more effectively.
