If you mean the recycling/ironing thing. I tried it with film topping and it worked using plain paper - with waxed I ended up with it all stuck to the paper. I also have a fabric type and it didn't work with that at all.

modo have you tried it with baking paper? (the kind you put under biscuits for example) I havent personally tried this tip to be honest but I use baking paper when ironing anything that could leave a gluey residue on my iron. the paper might get a bit dirty but so far no project has stuck to it yet lol. Another tip for using scraps of wss is sewing them together with water soluble thread........ or simply do as I do and patch them up in the small hoop for small projects, I don't attach them together at all then and it works wonderfully. *4u

oh forgot to say I use the fabric type not the plastic looking type for this. still have to find a use for a lot of filmy type scraps myself lol
I try with wax and parchemen paper, they do not work, is it the temperature of the iron? I will try again; as for the ws thread, where do you get it? when I ask at the sewing center, the lady laught in my face...Do not forget, I am in Québec and I have to buy most of the sewing/embroidering stuff in the state Thank you*
modo here (in Germany) this thread is available at the big sewing centres so I'm afraid I don't quite know where you can get it except maybe online..... perhaps you put a question where the USA cuties get it from and you can order it from there? The whole article about the wss tips was available on designs by sick so you might still be able to find it there, I think they mentioned the iron temp too there.

My deepest appologies. I got that from a forum (bobbin buzz? or something like that). Thought it could be trusted and a couple ladies said it worked for them. I tried after reading this and it won't work for me either?!?! :( sorry. I even tried between 2 sheets of paper, mind you I use H20 Gone. *'s 4U ><>

Well I guess the answer is to buy water soluble sewing thread so you can sew the pieces together and still have the whole lot dissolve when you need it to. Available from Shoppers Rule, not cheap but there is a smaller spool too and I haven't checked out any other sites yet. hugs n roses, M
