Can anyone share insight on their Digitizing program, & what it will do? I am looking into purchasing a new one & this is one of the best forms of research I can get! TIA, Hugs Loralye

Loralye, as you know I have the Bernina software and I love it, however it is a bit unstable with the windows 7, at least that is my experience. It does crash more often than it did with Windows exp. So, I have just learned to save my work often... I have never worked with any other program, so I would probably like those too, once I learned them..

I only ever used Bernina so I am biased toward it. It is worth every penny. Can load and change designs for many formats and then save them to your favorite format, or your friend's format. Does no do JEF format but there are freebies that do. What machine doe you have and the preferred format?

I have P-e design and I found it easy to learn. The manual is very good so I followed the examples and easily progressed.
The photo stitch needs the right shades of colours to stitch out, so I am still working on that sometimes.
I can use it on XP, and win7 with no differce.
I would love the PE NEXT (newer version) but lack funds now.
You are going to have so much fun with whichever program you get because the Embroidery "World" gets bigger when you can digitize .
Good luck with your research.
