Not embroidery, but how do you judge the arm holes on the pillowcase dresses?

If you go to Nancys Notions there is a downloadable for the Pillowcase dresses with a nice template of the armholes. I printed mine on card stock and makes is more durable. Hugs & Stitches, Liz
