My Question,How many hoops do you have? I have 30 in total, including 3 cap hoops. I do like to have at least 4 of each size but I just can't afford the nearly $500 tag on the extra cap hoop that I want.

I have two, one is 120x120 mm and the other is 200x260 mm. Love them both. DeVon

That is so cute Devon, I don't have a special relationship with any of my hoops, but I do like my round hoops and I am not fond of my extra big ones.
My 5x7 inch is my favourite to use,it always holds the fabric nice and firm.

That is a lot for a cap hoop. I have 2 of them that came with my Amaya and I haven't ever done a cap so they are still wrapped in the plastic as they arrived. When I went to class they had us do a cap and I hated the whole hooping process for them.
As long as it seemed to take to hoop a cap a couple of extra hoops to be preparing while one sews would certainly be almost a necessity. Save up for an extra one.

Marchelle, I don't do them that often, but I usually have more than 10 to do at a time. It is so much easier to hoop them ready to sew once the first one is finished.

Wow 30! I have 15 and more to come this week. I too like extra hoops and have multiple projects going. I was thinking I have to mark what machine they go to in case a newbie is stitching! I definelty need to make at least one to-go carry 4 bag! I leave projects in the hoop in a plastic bag if I get frustrated and come back later. So what machine does a hat hoop cost $500?

I like the idea of the continuous hoop but not sure if there is one for brother innovis 1500
I have the same machine and the same hoops but i also bought the mega hoop for $50. dollars hugs

Wow 30 hoops! I have 8 of them. 2 4X4's, 2 5X7's,1 c hoop, 1 D hoop, 1 cap hoop, and 1 giga hoop.

I only have the two that came with my machine, the biggest is 4x4. I nearly bought another 4x4 thinking that it'd be nice to hoop up ready for when the machine finishes the current design but balked at the $60 price tag... $500 for yours? wow. :) xXx

7: 4 that came with the machine, includes a mini for socks and I use it for monogramming cuffs. 1 with my border kit, 1 with my buttonhole kit, and the hat hoop I bought recently which can be used for a lot of things besides hats.

Sorry to tell you this fannyfurkin but I have you beat. I have 5 embroidery machines and I have 33 hoops. I may have a couple more that I have forgotten about but I just counted 33 in my sewing room. I am one crazy person I KNOW.

All hail the biggest hoopaholic. I was sure I could not be the queen of hoops. As for embroidery machines, I won't even go there, I have only 2. very nice ones indeed but only 2.
