just wondering if anyone else has noticed that embroidery library has changed the color format on their design. I mean to say that when you purchase and download your file you get the actual colors of the design and not everything in blue.
LOVE IT and about time I say,

I noticed the change too. Yea! But I don't care what colors show, I love their designs as much as Miss Veronika's designs.

really? I dearly hate it when you download a picture and its those odd colors. By the time you use it I forgot what it looked like. I pick it for its colors generally.

Yes great news I think, I often skip over their designs when browsing because they are so ugly when all one color.

My Pes design DL were always perfect colouring, I love the roses and try to follow the shading colours.
Which is your format?

I also use PES format and never had a problem with the colors. I change some of the colors but only because I want it to be a different color. When I use the design I print the color chart and use that as a guide.

everytime (or almost) I purchase one of their design in hus. format the colors are all distorted because they are all one color. For example a snowman would be all blue, was very irrating to me.

Thanks for the news - I wonder - if we download any of the old ones - if it will make a difference?

My friend uses JEF, I can use VIP or VP3, and we always got screwy colors! Usually sort of tan and black! 2 colors, not 1, but very upsetting. We both wrote to Debra, and she answered that digitizers sometimes use software that isn't compatible, blah blah, I was near ready to never darken their door again. But she answered my friend to take the design to the machine (instead of viewing on the computer) and her MB4 by golly saw the correct colors!!! But I want to edit and play, and I hated that 2 color mess. So I would go on-line and open their color chart in one window and my design in another and change them. Pain in the neck. Glad they seemed to have fixed it. Linda

You can download the PDF files and pull them up on your computer and print out. That way you can see the real colors and print them only when you are going to use them. Since i have 5D I now down load vp3 format which is more true in color. If you are not aware of it, you can select the format you need in you information and it will automatically select that format.

I've always just printed a picture of the design with the color chart and use that. Then that goes in my notebook.
My machine comes up with crazy colors anyhow... so I always use a color chart and ignor what my machine says. :)
