Christmas table runner I made. They said it was a 2 hour project. Well it took 4 hours to complete. It is a quilt as you go runner. The design is from Embroidery Library.

The design is beautiful, as are all of EmbLibrarys. Also, your work is so nice.I have never made a runner, but should try. My table is a little over 9 feet long, so I would need to increase the length of a pattern.

Thank you. You could make two runners. One for each end of the table.

Very beautiful. Is the quilt as you go instructions also at Embroidery Library? I just can't get this through my head as how to do it.

I went to a work shop to make. Everyone made a different center. I wanted mine to be Christmas.

It is so festive. Whatever the directions say I always plan for two or three times longer until I've tried the design.

Mildred, this is lovely - what a special runner you have - was this a pattern that you downloaded from EL or is the design the only thing from EL?
If it were me - I would say 2-3 days - rather than hours. Hehehe!

The design is the only thing from EL. The runner was from a work shop I did with a lot of other ladies.
