I have six nieces and nephews graduating high school this Spring. Loved this design for a means of giving cash gifts, but wanted to complete them as an ultra-suede applique. And with the help of Sue's instructions on making the little bags, this is what I accomplished.

That is a fun way to give money and they will still have this to use. How was it to stitch on that ultra-suede? Did you use a heavier needle?

regular needle - ultra suede is great, no fray, med stabilizer
