After a very wet summer our garden has gone berserk,everything has taken off becoming a jungle.Couple of photos of Dichorisandra Thyrisflora that is in flower in our garden ,often known as purple ginger even though its a plant from Brazil & not related to gingers

I'd love to have them in my garden! I've been up since 6.00am today planting Primulas, Poppies, Daffodils, Purple Freesias and 40 mixed Freesias. I bought a bag of soil and 4 pot plants yesterday. I had a ball digging in the dirt! Everything in the front of my garden is Purple, blue, white and yellow. Out the back with the Poppies I think they are mixed. I don't like Orange but in Poppies they are O.K. Love Chris

Our freesias & a blue star flower bulb are already up ,found them while weeding.Wondering if they will flower early or they are just taking advantage of all the rain

So so so Pretty! Thank you for sharing it with us! I can't tell you how long it has been since I've seen a flower growing in the ground. I did see one dandelion today. These are lovely!

The footpaths in our street have been covered in dandelions in flower & I have been cursing them more weeds to dig up
