I just used the lettering from my software and sewed them with my regular sewing machine. I copied one that I had received as a gift.

No it isn't a ith design. I just put the initial on the ribbon and folded the ribbon. Then you just sew down both sides near the edge. Your file just slips in. These files are thick and about six inches long.
