It was a wet and thunderous evening yesterday! Today wasn't as bad but I did drive through some crazy hail. Incredible picture of the lightning hitting the San Francisco Bay Bridge (Photo: Phil McGrew/Flickr)

Did you also have flowers in your hair?
Ha No, by then I was married and had a 6 month daughter. No time for putting flowers in my hair. Grannieannie

Yes my backyard looked as if it had snowed but it was hail. Of course I had just put out seedlings in my vegetable garden.

I hope your seedlings survive.

Fabulous photo. I left my heart in San Francisco, though if you asked me, I couldn't tell you why, I just loved it.

We got it preety good down here too in Southern California. The thunder was coming straight down and
and the windows shaking and it set off a car alarm.
I stayed off equipment. So far about 2.5 of much needed rain this week. As usual tons of accidents,
a gas fire and a garage on fire struck by lightning.
Great pic

Fantastic picture!!! I love lightning - so scary and yet so amazingly beautiful. I hide behind the curtain and look out when we have lightning storms - but it will always amaze me. Thanks for sharing.**
