Question of the Day: It can be a six month one or a full year long membership that you have purchased, sew my question is this: When you first buy a "new" membership how much time do you spend downloading everything that is available to you? & do you then save it to your hard drive or do you put them on cd's?

I guess maybe they are dvd's or dvr's whatever, do you make a backup of them on the disk?

I take time to go through everything but am a lot pickier about which designs I download. Have learned with time and experience which are good (well digitized) and which are not

cute, amazing, tuckers treasures, ive took my time with these as they are 6 months and 1 year ones,, i had a whole site purchase from embroiders eye with 30 days to down load so had to be quicker on this one, I save all to external hard drive and regulary back this up with dvds.

Most of them I did alot downloading right away so all I had to do were the new things as they were added. I download everything to my hard drive. I back up regularly to an external hard drive. I back up occassionally to DVD's that I can store away from my house.

I've only ever bought one membership when I first started collecting (won't say where) and it was not a good experience. Many of the designs did not sew out well, so I've been leery of joining any others. I collect the freebies and buy from sites that I've tried and like, mostly Emb. Lib. and Amaz.
