This may be a silly question, but--what is the purpose of voting for a design? I haven't been voting, didn't see a need since I have a subscription. Should I be voting? Have I missed doing something?

The voting is really for those that don't have a membership - so that they can get it for free - you can vote to help another - if you choose to and that is fine to do so.

I have membership too, but I do vote to help those with no membership.

You can vote to help others, if you see someone ask you to vote, it's your choice just to be nice.

The design with the most votes is the one that is offered as a freebie. Some people will ask for votes because they have missed a letter in an font series. I also have a membership but will vote if someone asks. Rarely though do we produce enough votes to make it happen.
