Inspired by Pauline's mannequin card and Martine's applique bunting card. It took longer to tie the bow in the ribbon than to stitch the card!

Nice one and I find those tiny bows lovely but fiddly. However it gives a nice 3D touch.

Like how this card design looks. The bow gives it a nice finish and you find bows and ribbons on store brought cards.

Would you be willing to share that design? If you already have, thank you and where to find it? It is so adorable! Especially that pretty curve at the bottom

This is lovely. I like the decorative stitching on the base of the mannequin. Over the years, I learned a trick for making great bows every time. Make the first tie. The ribbon will have a top and a bottom. Take the BOTTOM section of the ribbon and make the loop. Take the Top section of ribbon and wrap around the bottom loop. Finish as you normally would adjusting the sides to your own liking. Just remember top ribbon over loop made with bottom. They always come out looking smart this way.

Good advice - my problem was mostly that I hadn't used a long enough piece of ribbon!!

I have stitched several of these. They are fast, easy to do, and they turned out great!

Hint: Use a small needle (ie 60/9) then the holes don't show in the cardstock.
