I'm betting that ours isn't as old our as dh's is & that we actually take things off the list! LOL

Nope, DH is far more effective at clearing his "to do" list because the managing director hounds him until he finishes everything she wants done!!!!!

My to do list is all in my head and I have many things going on in it. I have all kind of lists, projects to embroider, household chores, book lists, things to buy list and it goes on and on. LOL. Hugs, Mary

I have several lists for different things (shopping, projects, etc). I am a "list" person - if I don't write it down it does not get done/bought! I redo most of my lists weekly and some a little less frequently (my list for work gets updated daily). It is the only way I can keep everything sraight!

I live by my "TO DO LIST" and have tried to make one for DH but he just won't bite LOL.
I find it motivating to have this list and work hard to "cross it down" (that is what I say when I get something done)so often to add something else.

Probably women's lists are even longer than men's. And if you're single, your list has even more items.
I've been a list maker for years because I've found that if I don't make a list, things don't usually get done. On especially busy (or lazy days!), I put one or two easy things on my list so that I can look back and see I've accomplished something. That isn't cheating-- that's building confidence!

No "to do" list for me, everything just sits in my brains archives until I eventually forget all about it, so I have nothing left "to do"
LOLOL!!!!!

I always make a to do list. Every week I write things on the list for each day. Those things have to be done before I allow myself to garden, sew, design. Otherwise the house would never been cleaned, the shoppings never done, the washing would stay dirty etc.

I sometimes write a list, but then if I don't manage to get it all done that day, I feel bad, so most of the time the list is in my head and nobody but me sees it and I know I accomplished something. I always try to make sure I accomplish something - other than sewing/embroidery - every day.

too much on one day isn't good. Never feel bad there must have been too many things to complete or other things had came up that took priority.

When I get really busy I make a to do list to keep track of what I need to get done. I also put deadline dates behind items to keep track of what MUST GET DONE NOW, lol!
It can be anything from sending Birthday cards, to weeding the garden or cleaning the chicken coop out, not just sewing deadlines, lol!
I date when I get them done and when my list gets short if I'm still busy I move the items over to the new list and ad what I now have to add on that list. So sometimes I have the never ending list going, lol!

I don't have a to do list but do jot down notes for when I get around to it.

I am 65 and the only list I have ever made was a grocery list. That is only to keep me from spending too much money because it is very scarce at my age! I also hate having to go to the grocery store every few days! My son is AADD and I have been his memory all of his 45 yrs! I guess I just trained myself to remember everything because it was a necessity. Once in awhile I will temp forget something but I think it is selective memory! Some things I just do not want to do, tends to pass me by!

My to do list is in my head. Daily I would work out my routine and try to manage between my work, household, children, dinner, dogs, dustbins etc. When something goes wrong I would stress bit and I would smile if like this afternoon I get a sms from my husband to tell me forget about dinner we will eat out. Normally embroidery will be on this list too but most often I find myself not to be in the mood due to everyting else going on. It is my hobby, my escape, and I can not do it if I am not going to enjoy it.

Boy oh boy, do I have a To Do List, in fact it's reached the point where I have a specific file to keep them in. It seems to get longer and longer. When I complain to my DH he says it shouldn't be so long, like it's been going on for years...you see most of the "to Do's" require his assistance and he's not that into it!!Grrrr..

My "To Do List" is in my Dairy.
So all my appointments are written down, also
when customers will be dropping off or collecting.
My shopping list also gets clipped onto the day that I am going to do the shopping etc. Or any other errants I need to do.
I have an order book in my sewing room,
date for collection gets written into the dairy the day that I recieve it.
Then I have a book at my computer,
this is for things that I need to digitise or just look up on the internet. Or personal gifts I need to make. I cross them off as I get them done.
So you can say yes I do work with a "To Do List"
it never ends.
Hugs Yvonne
