I have very much enjoyed seeing his work. He has inspired me to look for tatting classes.

Your Dad is in good company among men tatting I found a pattern for an American Flag online...not as nice as his..by veteran tatter Dan Rusch-Fischer.
Also in the latest issue Pieceworks is an article of a man Chester Ross Benz Sr and his tatted bedspreads.. I have enjoyed the tatted pieces!

I tried tatting with a shuttle and had a mess, but then bought some tatting needles. Much easier, once you learn basic stitches. I have not ventured into any large projects but have made plenty of butterflies.

Dad does it with a shuttle...I'm sure the shuttle is an antique!
