Love your Fabric and what you have done at the Base.

Thank you. This base was done using 2 Cd's glued together topped & tailed with fabric & a cotton reel/spool was again used in the middle. Have fun adding your bases.
My Late DH always told me that I never think outside the square. Thanks for this idea. Lyn
Thanks for the additional info.

Hi, Very nice. Is it an idea you have found or can you tell where I can find it. I absolutely love it. I myself have a friend who sews a lot. I'd like to make it and then give it away as a friend a gift.

the base is great. Not always easy to find a 'candlestick' is it, and you have done it well by your imagination and improvisation.

This is just stunning!! I love the ideas you have for the bases. I have made some but the candle holders(as suggested in the pattern) are a bit hard to come by. I have plenty of old cd's. Might try one tomorrow.

May I suggest looking for candle sticks at consignment shops? I found some at the Salvation Army Thrift Store and the Goodwill at good prices, Maybe you can check there too. Hope this helps.

Very Nice Job< outside the box. May I ask how do you make the long pins? What do you use for the base of the pin? Thanks

Thank you. Go to www.firemountaingems.com & put stick pin in the search section, there are gold & silvers ones to choose from..then all you need are your beads to slip on.
Have fun.
